A Brief History of Jèrriais.
Professor Nichol Spence's fairly non-technical account of the evolution and decline in the use of Jèrriais, a variety of Norman French spoken by only 5720 people (according to the 1989 census).
This book uses the locally-approved orthography of Jèrriais, but supplementing spellings where necessary by notations in the script of the International Phonetic Alphabet.
